Energetika Slovensko, a.s. (E.SK) is an energy company operating throughout Slovakia, established on 1 July 2025 through the merger of two stable energy suppliers — ZSE Energia, a.s. and Východoslovenská energetika a.s. The company builds on the long‑standing traditions of both brands and provides the supply of electricity, natural gas and related services to approximately 1.3 million customers, including households, businesses, institutions, as well as large and key consumers.

The company’s mission is to provide long‑term and reliable energy services at affordable prices, in line with environmental principles and European Union rules. In addition to energy supply, E.SK also offers customers comprehensive energy solutions and modern products that support cost savings, enhance safety and comfort, and enable more efficient use of energy.

As a member of the ZSE Group, E.SK is among the leaders in responsible business in Slovakia. Its responsible approach, focused on customers, communities and the environment, forms the basis of both everyday decision‑making and the company’s strategic direction.

The current assets of E.SK consist mainly of trade receivables and short‑term liabilities related to the supply and distribution of electricity and gas, as well as the provision of energy solutions to customers. Equity consists mainly of share capital and the statutory reserve fund.

The main sources of revenue and EBITDA for the company are the sale of electricity, natural gas and the provision of comprehensive energy services.

Revenues from electricity and gas distribution are only re‑invoiced, because suppliers invoice customers for both supply and distribution, while a portion of distribution revenues is subsequently transferred to the operator of the electricity or gas distribution network.

Energetika Slovensko, a.s. is a 100% subsidiary of Západoslovenská energetika, a.s. Its subsidiary is E.SK Call centrum, s.r.o.
